What? The Temper Trap

The Temper Trap were the best band of the festival for me. This happened at SXSW a few weeks ago and now again. How can this be? Because they are amazing. I kid you not. Front man Dougy’s voice is a force to be reckoned with, climbing to hit the highest of notes and you can tell he’s feeling every word, eyes closed, hands and head shaking, you can’t help but join in. The rest of the band are no slouches either, moving with ease from power ballads like anthem in the making ‘Sweet Disposition’ to the polyrhythmic art-rockout that is current single ‘Science Of Fear’. The band have just relocated from Melbourne to London, so hopefully that’ll mean a lot more shows for us. Welcome guys!

For Fans Of: TV On The Radio, Radiohead, Muse.
